About the Role

We are hiring an Arborist Ground Person to support our tree care operations. This is an ideal role for those who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in teamwork, and are dedicated to maintaining safety and quality in tree care.

Responsibilities

Set up work zones, including placing safety cones and signs.
Assist climbers and crew leaders with ground-level tasks.
Operate and maintain equipment, such as chippers, chainsaws, and stump grinders.
Perform driving, parking, and equipment backing duties.
Follow safety procedures and learn tree care techniques, including pruning and rigging.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by team leaders or supervisors.

Qualifications

A degree in arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, or landscaping is preferred but not required.
Prior experience in tree care or landscaping is a plus.
Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
